Gujarat Businessman Gifts His Employees Mercedes-Benz Worth Three Crore Rupees
Founder and chairman of Hari Krishna Exports, Savji Dholakia has recently gifted three Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV’s to his employees, to mark their completion of 25 years with the company. The diamond merchant gifted 3 cars worth 3-crore in a ceremony in Surat. The on-road price of the car in Surat is estimated at 1 crore.
The car keys were handed by Madhya Pradesh governor and former Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben to the senior-most members of the company namely Nilesh Jada (40), Mukesh Chandpara (38) and Mahesh Chandpara (43).
The Mercedes Benz GLS SUV has a V6 diesel engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission gearbox. It comes with LED headlamps, intelligent lighting system and many other exclusive features such as panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control system, and rear seat entertainment among others.
Dholakia states that three employees (Nilesh Jada, Mukesh Chandpara and Mahesh Chandpara ), joined the company as trainees who used to cut diamond are now one of the most prominent members in the firm.
“They started with learning to cut diamonds and polish it and now they are not only experts but most senior and one of the most trusted people of our company.” The diamond merchant told TOI.
Moreover, this is not the first time when the Diamond export company owner has showcased such a generous act towards his employees. On the eve of New Year in 2017, the businessman surprised his employees by giving them 1200 units of Datsun Redi –GO hatchback.
Also, in 2016, the trader distributed some of his profits with his employees by giving bonus worth 51 crores as Diwali gift. Further, he also gave 1260 cars along with 400 flats to his employees.
