MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma And Others Leave For Asia Cup. See Pics

Skipper Rohit Sharma, former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, along with Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav posed for a selfie as Rohit Sharma’s men leave for Asia Cup on Thursday, 13 September.

The right-arm spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s recent upload on Twitter is surfacing on the internet as the Indian Players were all smiles, prior to their first match of the Asia Cup against the minnows Hong Kong on 17 September.

Chahal’s companion left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav also posted a selfie with former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. “Enroute Dubai. @msdhoni bhai.” He wrote on Twitter.

“Some of the players have left for the Asia Cup Thursday while the others will join them,” a BCCI official said.

Team India will play its first match of the Asia Cup on 18 September 2018 against Hong Kong before taking on their arch-rivals Pakistan on 19th September.

While India’s opening batsman Rohit Sharma is handed over the responsibility to lead the team in the Asia Cup, skipper Virat Kohli has been given rest, looking ahead at the World Cup next year. Team India would want the captain of India to be completely fit, given that the 29-year old batsman has been playing consistently across all formats without taking rest in the last few years.
